Rarity The Red Mage

Last in my series of the MLP cast as Final Fantasy classes. Pencil sketch colored in GIMP using a Wacom Bamboo Connect.

This is hands down my favorite of the 6 I've done so far. I may actually go back and redo some of the others after how good this one turned out. Man, it's almost like I'm getting better at this or something...

"Now, darlings, one must remember that just because somepony is fighting evil and earning those...oh what did Dash call them? XPs? Whatever. None of that is sufficient reason to not look FABULOUS while doing it! That's why I'm a spell caster, dear. No reason to get the hooves dirty! Just stand in the back and dazzle them with brilliance and fireballs."

"Hey Rarity! You gotta come RIGHT NOW!!! It's amazing! It's awesome! It's pretty and shiny and it's back from the blacksmiths LITERALLY AT THIS VERY MOMENT!!!"

"Pinkie, what on earth are you blabbing about?"

"It's your sword, Rarity! So you can poke the bad guys like pinatas! Are we going to fight pinatas, you think? EEEEEVIL PINATAS?"

"Poke them? But...but spells..."

"Multi-class, silly! You're a Red Mage! Didn't you get the instruction manual? I put them in the invitations I made for the party I threw celebrating our appointment as the Warriors of Light!"

"You mean I...have to...hit things with a sword like a common Clydesdale clod?"

"YOOOOU BETCHA!!! Now come on! Let's get ourselves some Evil Pinata Candy!!!"
